Who can volunteer?
If you’re over 18 and have an interest in supporting the festival and creative events in Birmingham then volunteering is definitely for you.
We see volunteering as a great opportunity for students but equally this gig is for anyone who wants to be involved and has a good work ethic.

Call for entries
Now closed (ran Jan – March).
Speaking at BDF 2022
We typically invite around 75% of our speakers for BDF, with the other quarter of speakers coming from a call for entries. Our call for entries closed 7th March, it is now no longer possible to apply to speak in 2022.
Hosting a workshop
Much like speaking at BDF, workshop hosts are typically invited or submit an application via the call for entries. Our call for entries closed 7th March, it is now no longer possible to apply to host a workshop in 2022.
Exhibitions & installations
We’d love to talk about bringing more exhibitions and installations into the programme.
